The budget proposal for 2021 recommends spending $15 million over two years to prolong the Racialized Newcomer Women Pilot program, which will give them with greater job possibilities and opportunities for promotion. Recognizing the value of temporary employees in Canada, the budget for 2021 invests $49.5 million to Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC). It would ensure that temporary foreign workers receive fair compensation and working conditions, as well as speedier processing and better service delivery for open work permits. In addition, the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy and the Canada Emergency Rent Subsidy have each been allocated $12 billion.
